What Causes Light Headedness And Headaches Post Intake Of Plan-B?
I took plan b a month ago and I am feeling so sick . I am waiting for my 2nd period . I had my 1st period after 1 week of plan b (3 days very light and clots ) .. My worries after a month is that I feel super lightheaded , continuously hungry ,nausea(no throwing up),and frequent headaches ? I have been told I have a very weak immune system . I have done pregnancy test came out negative .
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours after an episode of unprotected intercourse. It will prevent pregnancy from happening by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the intake of the pill. Although you state that you had periods after a week of taking Plan B, it is doubtful that it was normal as you say that it was very light with clots. Now, after a month, the symptoms what you are experiencing appears that you could be pregnant. Kindly get an urine pregnancy test done and trans-vaginal ultrasound scan (TVS) to know the status at the earliest. You need to consult Gynaecologist at the earliest with the report for further evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
