My son 45 years old kidney transplant patient and has Hypertrophy heat and has defib fitted. His blood pressure has been up and down on a daily basis seems to coinside wwith if he is sitting or lying down. Uses an asthma pump. Around 2 pm each day his blood pressure returns to normal. He experiences a feeling of drunkeness in his head at times. This has been gong on for quite a few weeks. He s had a 24 hr bp monitor fitted today. He is concerned about his head feeling this way - any advice
Hi I had gone through your question , and understand your concern. I think the problem of light headedness you are having is because of fluctuation in blood pressure (mostly because of low blood pressure) . This 24 hr BP monitor will give a good idea about his BP fluctuations and help the doctor to understand the nature of this condition. If necessary , medicines can be prescribed for this. But thers is nothing serious that you should be worried about. I hope this information is helpful. Thankyou
