General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Light vaginal spotting during menstruation can have various causes, including hormonal imbalances, stress, certain medications, and underlying medical conditions. It is possible that your spotting was a very light period, but it is also possible that it may have been caused by another condition or factor.

Given your irregular menstrual cycles and negative pregnancy tests, it may be helpful to discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider, who can perform a thorough evaluation to determine the underlying cause of your irregular bleeding and recommend the appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, it may be helpful to prioritize self-care and stress reduction techniques, such as getting plenty of rest, practicing relaxation exercises such as yoga or meditation, and maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine. It may also be helpful to keep track of your menstrual cycles and any symptoms you experience, such as spotting or cramping, as this can help you and your healthcare provider identify patterns or underlying causes of your irregular bleeding.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
