What Causes Lightheadedness After Hitting The Head?
I was hit in the head, and my hair was pulled to the point it was pulled out of my head, that was Saturday, since Sunday I have been feeling lightheaded (the feeling of being in a boat) and seeing spots, however I only see spots if am in the dark. Should I be concern?
You may be suffering from a mild concussion. To be perfectly honest the best course of action for any type of head injury is to get a neurological evaluation. That way, there will be a baseline of functioning that will be available in case symptoms or other things change. Your symptoms are highly suggestive of what we would refer to as postconcussive headaches or postconcussive syndrome. Again, it would be best to be seen by a physician (preferably a neurologist) before starting to take any medication for the pain. Just seeing spots in the dark is of no consequence. You will likely get over these symptoms in several days to several weeks if the condition remains uncomplicated.
