What Causes Lightheadedness After Taking Citalopram And Lorazepam?

Should I still be taking meclizine along with citalopram 10 mg. I take this for the day and lorazepam in the evening. Just started citalopram two days ago. I m hoping for some results, been dealing with this lightheadedness for two months,getting a little frustrated.

Light headedness can be due to orgamic causes which is usually resulted when there is a fluctuations in blood pressure or there is anu other problem, it can also be due to psychological causes.

I believe after considering all the causes you doctor considered it to be psychological that is why he started you on acetalopram So i would suggest you to continue medical treatment as advised by your doctor and see how things procede. Hopefully it will be fine in 15 days which is usual time taken by the med to make levels in blood.
