What Causes Lightheadedness, Dizziness And Irregular Heart Beat After A Implanted Pacemaker?

Once a pacemaker is implanted because of a missed beat in the rhythm of the heart, should the patient experience any discomfort or pain around the area of the heart? I and I also have an ejection fraction of 39 but do not like the way I feel when I take the generic drug of Coreg. I get lightheaded and dizzy and end up not being very active, so I have chosen not to take the Coreg generic. It is important to me to continue to lose weight

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required including ECG and echo test are required. We have to rule out possible causes like arrhythmia and low ejection fraction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
