What Causes Loose Motion And Fever After Angioplasty?
hello doctor, my father just went through angioplasty and got stent. he is 65 years old. its be 2 weeks after the angioplasty and he was having difficulty with constipation but now hes got loose motion and little fever (100 degrees). Is there anything serious?

He could be having Gastroenteritis. It could be related with the medicines advised after angioplasty. But the medicines are important so do not discontinue them. You could add on an antibiotic like Norflox plus Tinidazole twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Take care.
