Hello, Might be a long read so I apologize in advanced. I ve been having loose stools for weeks. I had a lumbar puncture and I became constipated. I was prescribed a strong laxative and within the next 3 days i had strong enough pain in my lower right abdomen to wake me up in the middle of the night. I since then have been taking in alot more kale, spinach and various fruits. It has helped soothe my stomach but now i feel gas pressure around my stomach (more often lower right abdomen) and it travels all the way to my right breastbone (relieved by burping). When I drink milk or lactose free milk my stomach feels inflamed. The loose stools started around February 2016. Before I would go to morning class I would take in sodium bicarbonate/antacid on an empty stomach because my stomach would growl so loudly. So often i would end up skipping breakfast. Ever since the loose stools started my stomach would growl as loudly. Stool softner helps bulk up the stool but its often mixed with at least one loose stool. I ve had numerous blood tests all, normal results. Abdomen ultrasound cameback negative, stool test cameback normal. Any idea on what this could be?
