What Causes Low BP Along With Dizziness While On Doxazosin?

I suspect my elderly 90 years old mother might be having side effects from Doxazosin. She is adamant that she must take them because she is scared of having a heart attack. Low BP, dizziness and abdo pain are symptoms that i think may be related to this drug. Her cocktail of drugs including Clopidogrel, Perindropril, Lyrica after she had a small TIA are worrying me, and add to that Morphine patch for backache and Zopiclone for her to sleep. Yes, she is 90 but this previously quite vibrant lady is tired all the time now, and I mean tired. She can hardly cope with anything. Drugs ? TIA ? I am her daughter and worried about her. Hi,

Please stop using Doxazocin as it is responsible for dizziness and low blood pressure. She is already on 3 medications which will be helpful in the prevention of heart attack.

Besides doxazocin is particularly used for BPH in men and use of it as antihypertensive is obsolete now except during adrenal surgery. So just stop it. She will require 1-2 iv fluids pints and nothing else.
