What Causes Low BP Despite Medication In A Heart Patient?
Today my blood pressure is 113/41, B.p.I was recently taken off B.P. pills I ve been on for 15 or more years. B.P. has run normal or a bit lower all year with or without pills. Lately is even lower. & and 7 0r 8 yrs. ago had 1 stent and 2 by-passes in heart, could this be related. Under Cardo. care, but Dr. told me sometimes when people age and are healthy (?) their BP. will lower, but this much and continuing to get lower all the time? I will follow up with him , but consider this a second opinion and chance to get another take on YYYY@YYYY
Your doctor is right, however, you need to monitor your bp regularly, and drink fluids, you may need to increase sodium in your diet just a little which will help bring your diastolic pressure up. Otherwise you seem pretty healthy, take good care of your self.
