Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and Carvedilol is a beta blocker which is given in hypertension, angina, heart failure and left ventricular dysfunction post myocardial infarction.

1. Since it is a beta blocker thus causes bradycardia, syncope, dizziness, which could be the cause of drop in blood pressure thus ask your attending doctor/cardiologist to suggest an alternate/substitute medicine

2. When on Carvedilol also look out for headache, fatigue, asthenia, arthralgia, urinary incontinence, edema, diarrhhea, nausea, hyperglycemia, weight gain, cough, abnormal vision.

3. Regularly monitor parametres like: heart rate, blood pressure, liver function & blood urea nitrogen (BUN).
