Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I live in Santa Fe, NM which is a cold climate in the winter. Every day it warms up with a lot of sunshine, but the temperature declines rapidly when the sun goes down. Each evening I get the chills, and often a headache, but have no symptoms of a cold or flu. The chilled feeling goes away during the day.
If you're not feeling any cold or cough or not getting a fever and getting only chills means it may be due to the low temperature only.
Use house warmers, drink hot fluids. If not improved, take tablet paracetamol twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
