What Causes Low Bystolic Blood Pressure Levels?

My 84 year old mother 4 days ago had 3 heart medicated heart stent put in place, Currently she is taking Blood thinner Brillentia, they took her off Bystolic today because her blood pressure dropped very low. Current issue is that her scalp is itching like crazy and she is becoming agitated easily. What are your thoughts please. She cannot take Plavix due to interaction with priolsec.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Low blood pressure could have been produced by medications your mother is taking and the dosage of them needs to be adjusted accordingly. Regarding itching of scalp, it could be due to fungal or bacterial infection, which needs to be reviewed clinically. Kindly consult Dermatologist in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query.
