WHAT DOES IT MEAN MY E.S.R. TEST FIRST HOUR 66MM SECOND HOUR 91 MM WHAT INFECTIONS CAN FALL UNDER THESE RANGES ..My Hemoglobin is 9.5 RBC S 3.5 WHITE COUNT NORMAL 7.7 ,MY Platelets 175 uric acid 8.57 mg/dl the creatinine 0.95 mg,Urea 26 mg ,now i have fever low grade ...on and off ..and nausea to go with it..
with the range of ESR(erythrocyte sedimentation rate) level we cant assess the type of infection involved. because ESR test is a prognostic tool.
increase level of ESR indicates some inflammation and infection like tuberculosis,meningitis or in auto immune disease like rheumatoid arthritis. low grade fever and nausea will present in many condition.
with your Complete blood count Index(lab investigation report) correlated with your present symptoms can rule out the infection. if needed blood culture can bring out the infection behind your condition.
