What Causes Low Grade Fever When Diagnosed With Non-Hodgkin S Lymphoma?
thanks. i am one month short of 2 years in remission for non hodgkins lymphoma so I panic everytime I don t feel right. I started with a low grade fever saturday and a lot of aches and pains everywhere. my fever was gone by monday morning but i ve still been fatigued and had some aches and a headache. yesterday morning and this morning i woke up soaked but I got up and after a few minutes i was fine. according to my thermometer at that point my temperature was 95.8 ten minutes later it was 97.7. i went to urgent care on sunday they did a lyme test,,came back negative. should I be scared its my lymphoma back?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Possibility of relapse of NHL (nonhodgkin s lymphoma) is very less. Possibility of viral infection is more likely. Fatigue and weakness from viral infection lasts for 2-3 weeks. Since your fever is subsided, you will mostly improve in 2 weeks. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Take multivitamin and antioxidants tablet. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
