What Causes Low Sex Drive And Depression After Withdrawal From Cymbalta?

I have been taking 60 mg of Cymbalta for almost three years for chronic RA pain. I have been taking Xeljanz not quite as long and have had great relief from pain although I sweat profusely at any given moment and no sexual libido whatsoever. I feel that I have become depressed over the past few months and have slowly taprered totally off Cymbalta....with my Drs knowledge. Mood has improved but the pain is intolerable. Help.

I can understand your concern. You have been taking 60 mg of Duloxetine for chronic pain and then tapered it completely. A lot of individuals who take regular therapy of Duloxetine or similar drugs when reduce the doses of drugs develop symptoms of depression. This could be due to withdrawal of the drug or due to relapse of symptoms of depression so needed proper evaluation. Visit a psychiatrist for help. Low sex drive, profuse sweating etc is most likely occurring due to relapse of symptoms. Visit your psychiatrist again and start taking the drugs again and this would help in improvement of your symptoms.
