From a blood test I was told I have abnormal WBC s. I think they said low white cells. I am referred to a specialist (hematologist) what could this mean? I also had scoliosis surgery 2 yrs ago took a long time to feel better but I m owing much better now.
Hello, Welcome to hcm, Leucopenia could be secondary to any medication or drugs if you are taking for longer time,or bonemarrow suppression due to malignancy, infection etc..So you need bonemarrow aspirations study and biopsy to know the exact cause of Leucopenia.
