What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain To A 10 Year Old?

My 10 year old son is having lower abdominal pain. (Directly above his penis) he has had it for two days, and it is getting worse. No burning with urination, no difficulty with bowel movements, no fever. He says the pain is at 5 , and he has quit playing video games to sit on the couch and relax. It hurts more when there is pressure on it. What could be causing this?

Welcome to Hcm,
The area where he is complaining of pain is typically seen in urinary tract problems. I know that he doesn't have burning micturition but the only way to find out about the problem is to do a urine routine test and an ultrasound abdomen with kub. As of now, make sure he drinks plenty of water. Take care.
