Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Lower Back And Abdominal Pain Along With Urine Incontinence?
I have lower backache, abdominal pain, some urgency to urinate, and at times, difficulty standing up straight. This has been going on for 10 days. It is not constant. I have to sleep on my side because of it. I have an apt tomw with a neurologist who has treated me for cervical stenosis and arthritis. Thoughts?
Cervical stenosis symptoms are associated with pain and numbness in upper arm. Your symptoms like back pain, urgency are related to lumbar vertebral stenosis.
You also stated that you have difficulty in standing, whether it is because of back pain or related to knee pain?
I think you should go for MRI whole spine, which will detect abnormalities in all spinal levels if it exists.
If above report is normal, other possible reason can be related to gastrointestinal and urinary track related. For that, consult surgeon who will guide you properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
