What Causes Lower Back Pain Along With Pelvic Discomfort?

Lower back pain as well as pelvic discomfort. Pelvic discomfort is between the legs when I go to stand. As long as I sit or lay down everything is fine. I cannot stand for more than 5 minutes without lower back pain or cannot walk without this pain as well. Can you please tell me what this could be?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Low back pain along with pelvic discomfort can be due to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) in case of females (although you have not mentioned your gender).
Urinary tract infection can also lead to similar symptoms, however, it is also accompanied by burning micturition and increased frequency of micturition.
Thus, I suggest you to get urine examination- both routine examination and microscopy.
In case infection is detected on urine examination, appropriate antibiotics need to be prescribed.
In case urine is clear of infection, you need to get an ultrasound pelvic region.
If PID is detected, appropriate antibiotics will be required in that case also.

Thanks and take care
