What Causes Lower Back Pain And Abdominal Pain After Taking A Contraceptive Pill?

Hi I had unprotective sex with my husband on the tenth day from the starting day of my period. I took contraceptive pill within 24 hours and i took contraceptive pills for the next 4days also.Now iam experiencing lower back pain and lower abdominal pain.Is this related to pregnancy?

Based on the history you have shared, pregnancy seems less likely however urine pregnancy test or ultrasound pelvis may be helpful for reassurance. Sometimes other pelvic inflammatory disorders may present with such symptoms. A urinalysis to rule out urinary bladder infection may also be needed.
