What Causes Lower Back Pain And Burning Sensation During Urination After Having Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage early last week. I ve been having some pain in my lower back on the left side. It feels more like I strained it somehow. That s been going on since Sunday. This evening I started feeling feverish with some slight chills and not burning when I pee, but a pain in my lower abdomen as my bladder empties.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
The symptoms what you are experiencing after miscarriage might be due to:
1. Urinary tract infection (UTI).
2. Infection of pelvis following abortion.

Kindly get the following investigations done to know about what could be the cause so that it can be treated appropriately.
1. Urine routine examination and Urine for Culture & Sensitivity.
If this is indicative of infection, Kindly visit Urologist for administration of appropriate antibiotics and management.
2. Ultrasound abdomen to know about infection of pelvis.
If the report indicates infection, Kindly visit Gynecologist for administration of appropriate antibiotics and management.
