What Causes Lower Back Pain While Being Diagnosed With Hashimotos Disease?
hello, i am a 35 year old male who has recently been diagnosed with Hashimotos disease (tests are being done to confirm). Prior to being diagnosed, I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia. After I begin my daily hormone replacement pills, will the hypoglycemia symptoms subside or go away all together? Additionally, I have lower back pain - could this be caused by the Hashimoto's disease?
Hypoglycemia will be controlled once normal thyroid hormone levels are restored. However include more protein and food with low glycemic index in your diet to prevent episodes of Hypoglycemia.Try eating small frequent meals.
Back pain is also associated with hashimoto's disease.Back pain will resolve once the acute phase subsides and thyroid hormone levels are normalized. Stretching and Mild exercises will help relieve the pain.
Hope I was able to answer your question Please address any more concerns Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
