What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain In An Elderly Patient?

I am a 40 year old female with lower right abdominal pain...I have had it for about a month and all the information I can find seems to point to chronic appendicitis. No fevers, and after about three days of sharp pain it has degraded to dull pain with more awareness when I am moving....What other possibilities could I be looking at?

Hii , Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here

I have gone through Your query and will try to provide information you need on it

appendicitis pain generally begins with abdominal pain around the belly button that then migrates to lower right abdomen but there are variety of other medical conditions which may cause lower abdominal pain including urinary disorder, such as bladder or kidney problems, a bowel problem , or a problem with the reproductive system – the uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries
But seriously it needs thorough medical examination and investigations to rule out the underlying cause

doing self diagnosis and treatment wont help and is strongly not recommended
i would strongly suggest you to see your surgeon to rule out any underlying medical condition

I hope it help
