What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain?

Hi I ve been experiencing some mild lower right abdominal pain for about a day now. It hurts when pressure is applied and it s just that spot no where else. It hurts that spot when I try to pee. Also I ve gone to the ER two years ago for gas pains so I don t want to do that again, but it seems different this time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

Welcome to HCM

According to history provided

Right lower abdomen pain associated with nausea, vomiting, fever may be indicative of appendicitis.

If such patient comes to my OPD I generally examine him/her properly depending on findings of my examination will advice complete blood count , urine routine and ultrasonography of abdomen. Lastly depending on investigation finding I decide to give antibiotics or not.

If investigations are within normal range then I will prescribe anti spasmodic and will review after 7 days.

Please you should visit near by emergency department for proper evaluation of your problem

Hopefully I cleared your query

Have a speedy recovery

Regards.
