What Causes Lump And Irritation In Throat Despite Taking Pepto Bismol?
i felt like there was a lump of something caught in my throat after i swallowed a pill. It has now moved down to my abdomen. My throat feels a little irritated. I ve taken several doses of Pepto Bismo and drank water. This has hurt on and off since last night. I don t know what else to do. .
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lump and irritation in throat despite taking Pepto Bismol which seems to be due to allergic reaction and excessive production of acid leading to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Need not to worry. you should visit gastroenterlogist once and get it examined. You should go for endoscopy and get proper examination done. You should do warm saline gargles. You should take a combination of prokinetics like levosulpride along with omeprazole. avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
