What Causes Lymph Nodes In Neck And Groin To Swell?

Yes, for about 2 weeks now my lymph nodes in the neck area and groin area are swollen. My neck feels very swollen in the inside and with pain. I feel pressure swallowing, stiffness, headaches a little nausea because Im dizzy. I have seen a doctor and he put me on muscle relaxers but that is not working or the issue. I have an appt with an ear,nose and throat specialist on friday. I also had a thyroid removed in 1996.
