What Causes Memory Loss While On Sleep Apnea Treatment?

I am 40 yrs old. I have severe sleep apnea that has been treated for 15 months with success. I have experienced 2 instances of missing time in the last week. 3-4 hrs worth while I am at work. I work alone in an office with very few passers thru. Any ideas?
