What Causes Middle Back Pain?
Hello. I am a very active individual. Golf everyday, drink plenty of fluids for hydration. Yet, a sudden, severe back ailment has greatly impeded me lately. I have researched and found that it can be either gas, kidney stone, or liver infection. Any ideas? Pain is on right flank middle.

You suffer from lumbalgia. It is caused by straining.
You can use painkillers and creams such as Fastumgel.
Massage can also help.
However an x-ray, fibrinogen test, complete blood count and urine test are necessary in order to determine the diagnosis.
