What Causes Migraine Headache Despite Taking Tylenol During Pregnancy?

Hello, I am currently 17 weeks pregnant, and have been getting headaches. I currently have a migraine, and have had a consistent headache for 2 days with no break. I have had blurred vision, as well as feelings of nausea and vomiting. Is there something that can be done? I have taken Reglan, as well as Tylenol. Taken a hot bath, used a cold wash cloth on my head and nothing has helped. Thank you for any information. Kerri

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to migraine.

I suggest using Acetaminophen.

I also suggest to stay hydrated and avoid the factors that trigger the headache.

The symptoms should last at maximum 72 hours and then will go away on its own.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
