What Causes Mild Headache Along With Painful Clogged Ear After Head Injury?

i hit my head yesterday and have laceration - i sought urgent care and have had a slight head ache most of today which I expected but over the last hour or so i feel ear pain or like my ear is clogged on the same side as the injury, can this be related?

This can be related but it depends on the side of your head injury e.g. behind your ear. If the blow was severe then one can't comment without having a look at you x-ray or CT-scan which i am sure you had at ER.
