What Causes Mini Strokes And How Can It Be Stopped?
Hi,My mother is ill in hospital, she appeared to have a stroke, the hospital tells me they have found a tumour on/near to the pituitary gland they did a biopsy and it was inconclusive as to weather is was cancer or benign, so now they have done a lumbar puncher to test the fluid and see if there is any inflammation. While all this has been going on and waiting for results she appears to have mini-strokes but after a week recovers from them... What is going on here??? Thanks

If there is a tumor found in scan then it's needed to confirm. Which kind of this benign or malignant and what they have done is step by step process only. But in both the cases they need to remove this later on. And as the treatment is going on chances of minor stroke attack is also there. But don't worry at the end patient life and recovery is very important. I suggest to talk to her give her good moral and emotional support. And think positive. Take care.
