What Causes Miscarriages?

I am 45 and my wife is 32 - she has had two miscarriages in six months (6 weeks and 3 weeks). She was diagnosed with pulmonary TB in early 2010 and underwent a six month treatment of antibiotics. When she got pregnant, she flared up in acne and had terrible morning sickness, fatigue. Pre-TB, she had clear complexion but the antibiotics bought on a massive acne outbreak. With no drugs or pregnancy her complexion is normal. My questions, is her risk of miscarriage >50% because of my/her age and her latent TB condition?
