What Causes Missed Period And Lower Right Abdominal Pain?

I had miscarriage about 5 weeks ago. I still haven t gotten my period. I ve had unprotected sex with my boyfriend like 5 or 6 times during these 5 weeks. Today I had some pain on my lower right hand side. The pain only lasted less than 5 mins. Could I be pregnant or should I expect my period soon?

Hi,

I hope you did a USG after the miscarriage to rule out any retained products of conception. Since you have not got your regular periods, a urine pregnancy test (UPT) would be a good start to know what is going on with you. After your UPT is negative, may be you can wait for a week or so and see a gynecologist for further scans if still unclear.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
