Hi, Welcome to HCM, Your Doctor has given you Regestrone tablets to get withdrawal bleeding. You have taken it for five days. Now just wait patiently for another 10 days to get your period. You will definitely get your period. Your pregnancy test is negative, and your age is 41 years, so there is no probability of pregnancy. USG was of no use to detect pregnancy,as if pregnancy test is negative, there is no way you can detect pregnancy in USG. May be your Doctor did USG to rule out some other abnormalities, which may not have any concern with your Amenorrhoea. As the menopause age approaches, it may happen that slowly interval between period prolongs. Hope you got your answer. Dr H Hamdani
