What Causes Mouth Ulcers After Having Spicy Food?

I AM 43 YEARS OLD. WHENEVER I EAT SOME SPICY FOOD FOR 3 OR MORE CONSECUTIVE DAYS I BEGIN TO HAVE MOUTH ULCERS/SORES. THEY GET NORMALISED AFTER A FEW DAYS. WHY IS THIS SO. I HAVE NO BURNING SENSATION IN STOMACH. NO VOMITING SENSATION AS THE CASE OF ACIDITY PROBLEMS. DO I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR IN PERSON.

There are many reasons for mouth ulcers. Vitamin B complex deficiency, constipation, stress and disturbance in normal intestinal flora are most common of them.
You need not see a doctor if your mouth ulcers heal by themselves within a few days.
You can use a mouthwash (containing chlorhexidine gluconate) two times a day and plenty of curd, yoghurt etc. (provide you are not allergic to milk products) which will hasten the healing. Along with this, you can use lignocaine oral gel just before meal to relive pain if your ulcers are very painful.
I hope this will help.
Take care.
