Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 4yr old daughter just lost her 2 bottom teeth. now she has maybe 2 or 3 white bumps on the tip of her tongue and one blister like bump on her lip. she has sucked on a bottle nipple since she was 2yrs old. any idea if the bumps and loosing her teeth may be the result of that?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain white spots on tongue along with one on inner lip that looks like blister can be due to causes like canker sores that can occur due to a number of causes like any traumatic injury, allergy, eating something hot and spicy, sucking lots of sour candies etc..
Another common cause can be due to viral infection causing cold sores..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician or a Pedodontist and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation can help..
In case of canker sores she can be advised Vitamin B complex syrup and doing warm saline gargles.. In case of pain Lidocaine gel can be applied over sores for pain relief..
In case of viral infection antiviral medications like oral and topical antiviral medications like Acyclovir can help..
Hope your query is resolved..
Regards.
