hello and welcome to healthcare magic,
thank you for posting your query here,
First of all, I would like to appreciate your efforts to notice the
white spots around your daughter's mouth and on her tongue.
Taking the age into consideration and her symptoms it might be thrush but in order to confirm the diagnosis it is really important for her to be seen by
pediatrician or a pedodontist.
Oral thrush is a
fungal infection and it usually resolves quickly once appropriate medication is prescribed, if she has
fever, weakness , loss of appetite then it is best to see the doctor at the earliest.
White spots are sometimes painful , making it difficult for a child to eat and drink, but in order to keep her hydrated kindly make her drink enough water.
Also, for fever you can give her baby tylenol(over the counter),
I will advise you to visit a child specialist soon.
I hope I was able to answer your query, If in case you have further questions, do not hesitate to write back.
I wish you and your daughter good health,
take care,
regards,
Dr. Anshika Taneja
