What Causes Mouth Ulcers With Rashes On The Arms And Labia?
Hi, I have broken out in ulcers in my mouth, a rash under my arms and one ulcer on my labia. My mum said she has always had a similar issue with the same break outs from alergies/ when run down but she doesn t know exactly what from. I ve read it could be canker or there was another thing I can t remember .

I can understand your concern. Same type of ulcers at various places in the body could be due to allergies as your mother suggested. I would advise you to start antihistamines such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5-7 days. If it would be an allergic reaction, the effects of the medicine should show in 2 doses and they should decrease in size and number.
Other possibility could be viral infection. However, in that case, no treatment is given and supportive therapy is given until body's immunity takes over and eliminate the infection in 7-10 days.
In addition, you can apply local Benzocaine Gel (Mucopain) on the mouth ulcers 3-4 times a day for faster healing. If you apply this gel before meals, it will aid in painless eating.
If the ulcers do not disappear in a week, you should see a dermatologist.
