What Causes Mucus And Blood In Stools In Case Of Pancreatitis?

my daughter's bowel movement looks like a piece of fatty tissue, kind of mucusy and also has red blood in her stool. She has been diagnosed with pancreatitis at the Emergency room and is to go see a GI Doctor. But until then this is concerning her it has been happening for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks now.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms may not be due to pancreatitis but it could be due to diet taken, if the stool appearance creating the doubt then the only option is the get done the lab test without this it can not be confirmed for anything, because what you are seeing may not be the blood or mucus but it could be due to diet, if this is the matter of concern then the only option is to get done the stool examination of just to discuss this with her physician hope this information helps.
