What Causes Mucus Coming Out Of The Eye After Acne Cleanser Got Into The Eye?
20 yrs old 110 lbs no med history. I got acne cleanser (salicylic acid) 2% in my eye yesterday and it stung so bad also I notices a white film come off like a layer of my eye. Now my eye is has mucus coming out n keeps crusting around.?? I dont know what to do?

it will cause chemical burn. wash it with clean water. apply mild alkaline solution. apply refresh eye tear drop. slowly you should improve.

this must have caused corneal erosion. repeated washing with fresh water should be don first. mild alkaline eye drop can be of little help still washing is the best remedy. methyl cellulose eye drop may be applied.
