Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no associated itching(irritability), this is unlikely to be thrush. Might be a diaper rash. Keep the area clean and dry, apply an emollient cream (any diaper cream) 3 times daily for 5 days. If 3/4 tests are negative, pregnancy is ruled out for sure. Let's wait for 2 weeks, and consult a gynecologist if no bleeding by then; this might suggest a transient hormonal disturbance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
