Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is 21 and I feel sure she is hypoglycemic. 5'5" 113 lbs college student. Has had "weak" and "confused" spells for several years. Completely healthy other than has had kidney stones twice. Has been experiencing frequent spells of nausea after eating meals, causing her to lie down to resolve. Blood sugar usually runs in the 70s. this week waking sugar has been mid 40s. 2 hrs after meals ran 192 this week. I know she should be following a hypoglycemic diet to attempt to resolve, but should she see physician for true diagnosis first. Family history of diabetes maternal and paternal.
