What Causes Nausea And Discomfort In The Esophagus?

hello, i have been having some issues and wanted to ask a doctor but can t currently reach one. I always feel like throwing up but never do. it feels like something is stuck in my esophogus and i have to take small bites because my food always gets stuck down my throat. i want to just make myself throw up but i know thats bad for me and i don t feel i am overweight. im underweight. i feel like vomiting whenever i get anxious, when i use the toilet, before, during, and after a meal regardless of how much i ate and how hungry i was. there is also a thick mucus that comes from my throat. so far it s been almost three months since i ve been noticing this issue and it gets worse. What s wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Taking into consideration your problems, I think you may have gastroesophageal reflux or an esophageal hernia.

In both cases, after making the right examination, you should take some medication to help you get better. Do not panic, and make an appointment with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Elona Dashi
