What Causes Nausea And Lightheadedness With A Lump Behind The Ear?
I feel lightheadness with nausea since last one month. Two day back all of sudden I felt mild pain just behind my right ear and it looks like a hard lump. It pains only if i press it otherwise there is no pain or disconfort. What could be the reason for lightheadness?
* As per my clinical experience, the light headache with lump behind ear may be indicative of some sort of inflammation issue through bacterial infection and secondary lymph node enlargement involving post auricular region. My guidelines for better recovery are: - Avoid putting water in the affected ear - Prescription of anti emetic as ondancetron antibiotic as cephalexin or others analgesic as paracetamol or acetaminophen - Avoid exposure to high intensity sound as DJ or others
* Remaining in regular follow up with your physician is key to early success in winning over the disease.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
