What Causes Nausea And Severe Fatigue While On Levothyroxine?

I ve been at odds with my general practioner. He wants me to take 100 mcg. of levothyroxine, after years of taking 175 mcg. I ve never experienced any thyroid issues as regards to noticeable symptoms until recently. Now, If I take 100 mcg. I get flushing, nausia, heat flash, and extreme fatigue. My TSH says take more while my body say s take less. 50 mcg alleviates these symptoms. Too much Levothyroxine makes me feel really sick. What can I do. My Doc. is from Bulgaria. I think he s more interested in western Bacteriophage research than my particular endochronological health.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,

First get your Ultra TSH and free T4 rechecked and also tell what their values are in the question. Only then dose adjustment can be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
