What Causes Nausea And Throat Irritation After Inhaling Spray Pain Fumes?

I accidentally inhaled Spray paint fumes, most probably a lot went to my lungs because even since I feel like vomiting but nothing is coming out, and then there is continuously irritation in my nose and throat, which is leading to frequent coughing. Mainly I m bothered with the vomiting feeling I m getting. This incident happened just 7-8 hours ago. What should I do or do I need to take any kind of medicine? Please help me out asap. It s bothering me awfully a lot. Thank you

Hi,

Well throat irritation and smell of paint can cause nausea..

Coughing is due to irritation in throat and constriction in bronchioles leading to coygh reflex..

In case if you have no other symptoms then you need not to worry as the symptoms can pass gradually.

But if there is a continuous vomiting sensation then you should consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.

For now you can take Ondensarton and see if the nausea gets better.

Also do warm saline gargles. Take light meals and drink plenty of water preferably warm.
