What Causes Nausea And Vomiting After Consuming Food?

My 21 year old daughter, in general good health, had the sudden onset of nausea, vomiting after eating anything, and felt faint yesterday. Today she has pain in her legs and joints and a rash on her abdomen that has worsened as the day progresses. The nausea and vomiting have lessened. Virus?
