For a 71 year old woman. Lupus in remission. An open infected wound just above ankle for which she is taking a powerful daily injected antibiotic (no oral antibiotics cured infection). Wound is getting better, but she is experiencing nausea and vomiting and we were wondering if the antibiotic could be the cause. The bouts of nausea are not daily. Yesterday she was great; today she was so ill sh.e never made it to an appointment. What can she take to alleviate the nausea? With apologies: I was hoping to get some information for my friend Carmen. It is not for me. She has been consulting doctors. I am at a loss for what to do for her other than sympathize or at times, suggest (to my embarrassment) that maybe it s something she is thinking or creating on her own. I do not want to pay for this. Am going to a pharmacy. Maybe they can have some suggestions.
