What Causes Nausea, Dizziness And Sweating All Over The Body?

Lying in bed, when overcome with sudden spinning (the room is spinning and I feel out of control) When I sit up and try and focus, the room still spins for 15-30 seconds with major dizziness until I can get my focus back. It occurred at 4:30 a.m. am and again just now at 7:30 a.m. This is followed by a feeling of nausea and a clammy sweat all over my body.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to benign paroxizmal vertigo. I suggest using Meclizine Hydrochloride three times a day. I also suggest to avoid salt in the diet and measure the blood pressure regularly. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see a ENT specialist for further evalaution.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
